Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has reportedly been trying to convince Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes to move to Arsenal in the summer.
The North London outfit are thought to be keen on securing the services of the Spaniard, who recently announced that he has no intention of signing a new deal at Camp Nou when his contract expires next summer.
It is believed that Henry is 'working on' trying to get Valdes to the Emirates for a reported £8.5m fee, which is expected to be the opening offer from the Gunners, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo.
Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Henry will become a member of the Arsenal coaching staff when he leaves MLS side New York Red Bulls.
