Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno is not a transfer target for Inter Milan despite the recent speculation, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Leno has dropped behind Aaron Ramsdale in the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium, and the 29-year-old could allegedly leave the Gunners either in January or at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
A recent report claimed that Inter had identified the Germany international as a possible replacement for current number one Samir Handanovic.
However, according to Romano, Inter 'are not considering' Leno as an option at this moment in time, with Ajax's Andre Onana the Italian outfit's leading target between the sticks.
Leno, who has conceded nine times in three Premier League appearances this season, has less than two years left to run on his contract with Mikel Arteta's side.
The German has now been an unused substitute in Arsenal's last three Premier League matches against Norwich City, Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur. body check tags ::
