Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has completed a move to Bournemouth on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old had been linked with a number of clubs this window, including Watford, Crystal Palace and Serie A side Roma, but has instead opted to spend the season with Eddie Howe on the south coast.
Cherries chief executive Neill Blake said: "Jack is a fantastic addition to the club. He is a player that needs no introduction and one that, quite rightly, our supporters will be excited to see in a Bournemouth shirt.
"He will bring a wealth of international and Premier League experience, so we are delighted to be able to welcome a player of his calibre to the club."
Wilshere's Arsenal career to date has famously been blighted by numerous injury layoffs, including almost all of last season due to a broken fibula.
