Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has taken one step closer to completing a loan move to Bournemouth, having arrived at the club to undergo his medical.
Wilshere became available on loan earlier this week, with Arsenal keen to allow the 24-year-old the chance to get his career back on track following an injury-plagued spell.
The likes of Crystal Palace, Juventus and Roma were among the clubs interested in the England international, but Wilshere opted to join Bournemouth for footballing reasons.
The deal is now close to completion after Wilshere arrived for his medical, although it is not yet clear whether the midfielder will spend the entire campaign with the Cherries.
Wilshere was limited to just two substitute appearances in Arsenal's first three games of the season, losing his place in the England squad as a result.
