Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur has insisted that he is paying no attention to speculation that has linked him with a switch to Arsenal.
A recent report suggested that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had identified the Scot as the ideal replacement to provide cover for the injured Francis Coquelin.
When asked for his take on the rumour, Palace manager Alan Pardew told reporters: "James McArthur has been outstanding since I've come to Palace. I always admired him at Wigan Athletic, and it's not a surprise to me he's been linked to a top club."
However, 28-year-old McArthur revealed to the Croydon Advertiser that he was "not going to listen" to the stories.
"It's nice of the manager to say, but I'm not going to listen to the rumours. I am just going to go about my job at Crystal Palace, because I am really enjoying my football," he said.
McArthur joined Palace from Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2014.
