Kylian Mbappe has revealed that he hopes to have his future in club football decided before the start of Euro 2024 in Germany this summer.

Heading towards the expiration of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, speculation is once again beginning to intensify surrounding the location of the 25-year-old for next season.

Since joining from fellow French outfit Monaco in August 2017, Mbappe has netted 250 goals for the perennial Ligue 1 champions, lifting five French titles.

The attacker is currently on course for his sixth league crown as part of Luis Enrique's side this season, with Les Parisiens 12 points ahead of second-placed Brest in the top-flight standings.

Speaking ahead of France's friendlies with Germany and Chile during 2024's first international break, Mbappe provided a slight update on his future at club level.

"I have nothing to announce, but I think my future will be resolved before the Euros," conceded Mbappe to a room of journalists on Friday.

The month-long European Championships begins on June 14, when host nation Germany will pit their wits against Steve Clarke's Scotland at the Allianz Arena.

Real Madrid are understood to be at the head of the queue for Mbappe, with the World Cup winner telling PSG that he will leave in the summer at the end of his contract.

The 25-year-old and Los Blancos have entered negotiations in recent times, with a move to the Bernabeu a real possibility for the forward in the near future.

Carlo Ancelotti's side are not the only outfit linked with a transfer for Mbappe, as Arsenal are said to be keen admirers of the former Monaco youngster.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta recently stated that his club cannot ignore a player of the Frenchman's calibre when plotting potential incomings, however a move to the Emirates is believed to be unlikely.

Mbappe has laughed off suggestions from Gunners supporters for a switch to Arsenal, with the attacker claiming that the North London climate is "too cold" for his liking.

Fellow Premier League title-chasers Liverpool have been credited with an interest in Mbappe this season, although a transfer to Anfield is not on the cards.

Outgoing Reds head coach Jurgen Klopp poured cold water over links between the Merseysiders and the World Cup winner, stating that a deal would be outside of the club's financial capacity. body check tags ::
