Mesut Ozil has suggested that he has no intention of leaving Arsenal before the end of his contract in 2021.
Having failed to impress under previous boss Unai Emery, Ozil has been frequently linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.
However, despite alleged interest from Turkey, the playmaker has insisted that he plans to remain in North London for the next 18 months.
The 31-year-old is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "I am very pleased with my contract that will continue here this year and the year after.
"I can't tell you what the future will bring, I'm excited about the future, but I don't know what's going to happen."
Ozil has started in five successive matches since the appointment of new manager Mikel Arteta.
