Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has reportedly resigned himself to leaving the club on a free transfer next summer.
The 28-year-old is into the final 12 months of his current arrangement and has been unable to agree fresh terms with the Gunners after demanding a significant improvement to his current, £140,000-a-week deal.
Yesterday it was claimed that the German had not held talks with the club since February and according to reports in his homeland, Ozil has now taken the decision not to sign a new deal if an offer is made.
The most recent offer from Arsenal is said to have been for £155,000 a week, significantly lower than the figure of around £300,000 reported in recent months.
Ozil moved to the Emirates from Real Madrid in 2013 for a fee of £42.5m.
