Mikel Arteta has signed a new Arsenal contract, according to reports.
The Mirror claims that the Spaniard has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal, which could mean that Arsenal are no longer interested in signing a midfielder.
They were previously linked to Manchester United target Morgan Schneiderlin, as well as Arturo Vidal and Ilkay Gundogan.
Arteta has made 101 appearances for the Gunners since joining in 2011.
