Manchester City could reportedly lose the services of James Milner for nothing in the summer.
The midfielder is out of contract at the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season, with talks between the club and Milner's representatives over fresh terms said to have stalled.
According to The Guardian, clubs in Spain and Italy have voiced an interest in the 29-year-old, who can legally sign a pre-contract with a foreign suitor before the end of the month.
The report adds that Liverpool and Arsenal would both be keen to sign the England international, but neither of the Premier League duo would be able to finalise a deal until July.
City manager Manuel Pellegrini recently conceded that he would like Milner to extend his stay with the club.
