Napoli are thought to have set their sights on a move for Arsenal defender Johan Djourou.
The Swiss centre-back has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium since the start of the summer, as he currently finds himself way down the pecking order behind Thomas Vermaelen, Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker of the Gunners defence.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport claims that talks between the two clubs are already underway although the Serie A outfit are reluctant to meet Arsenal's £6.3m valuation of the player.
Switzerland national team boss Ottmar Hitzfeld recently advised Djourou to leave North London to try to boost his chances of playing for his country.
Djourou is Arsenal's longest-serving player having signed for the club in 2003.
