Arsenal playmaker Martin Odegaard has joked that Erling Braut Haaland has to sign for the Gunners if he moves to the Premier League this summer.
The 21-year-old is widely expected to be on the move when a £63m release clause in his Dortmund contract becomes active, with Manchester City thought to be at the head of the queue for his signature.
Arsenal have not been one of the sides linked with a move for Haaland, but Odegaard has jokingly demanded his Norway teammate to make the move to the Emirates Stadium if he ends up in England.
"He's a good guy, a good friend of mine, a great player as well of course. We'll see what he will do. If he's coming to England, he needs to come to us of course!" Odegaard told Stadium Astro.
"To be honest, we haven't talked too much about it [advice on Premier League]. I know he has so many people to ask him and tell him what to do and I don't want to do that. We'll see what happens. He's a beast - he's strong, fast, I think he has everything."
Borussia Dortmund director Michael Zorc has hinted that Haaland will end up in the Premier League, with Man City believed to have stolen a march on Real Madrid in the race for his signature. body check tags ::
