Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele has insisted that he will be remaining with the club amid speculation that he could be targeted by Arsenal on deadline day.
The 21-year-old moved to Camp Nou last summer in a £135m deal but had an underwhelming first season, with injuries limiting him to just 17 appearances for the Catalan giants.
Reports in recent days have suggested that the Gunners are lining up a bid of £89m for the Frenchman, while Mundo Deportivo today claims that Arsenal have proposed an initial season-long loan worth £10m, with the option to buy next summer for £90m.
According to Marca, however, Dembele denied that he would be departing Barca during a live interview on Twitch yesterday.
Asked about Arsenal's interest, Dembele is reported to have replied: "I'm staying at Barca, I'm ready to play the Super Cup."
Arsenal are thought to have spent around £65m on new signings this summer, including Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Lucas Torreira.
