Arsenal are eyeing up a late £89m move for Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele, according to a report.
The France international, who started two of his national side's games at the World Cup this summer, has previously been touted as a target for Chelsea.
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claims that Arsenal are now contenders to sign the 21-year-old, however, and they are willing to go big with their offer.
Dembele was used just 17 times in his debut campaign at Camp Nou due to a long-term injury problem, and he is likely to be used sparingly in 2018-19 following the arrival of Malcom.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery will reportedly tempt Barca to cash in on a player that cost £135m to sign 12 months ago, as he seeks one further addition for his forward line.
France boss Didier Deschamps recently criticised Dembele for his "unacceptable behaviour" when forcing through a move to Barcelona.
