Crystal Palace have reportedly identified Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck as a transfer target for the January window.
The Eagles have recorded just eight points and netted eight goals from their opening 11 fixtures in the Premier League, and it has left Roy Hodgson to consider possible additions at the midway point of the campaign.
According to The Sun, Palace hold an interest in signing Welbeck, with the England international having less than a year remaining on his contract.
The Gunners are yet to offer the 27-year-old fresh terms, and a decision should be made on the player's future before the end of 2018 with the North London outfit unlikely to be content with allowing Welbeck to leave on a free transfer.
The report suggests that Palace will look to take advantage of the situation by lodging an offer of £10m for the versatile attacker.
Welbeck has netted five goals from 13 outings in all competitions this season.
