Palermo have confirmed that goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano has joined Arsenal on a season-long loan deal.
The 27-year-old passed a medical on Monday before agreeing personal terms.
The Gunners have the option to buy the keeper once the temporary deal expires.
Viviano began his professional career with Brescia before having spells with Bologna and Inter Milan.
