Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly tabled a last-minute loan offer for Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil.
The capital outfit have an impressive 13-point lead at the Ligue 1 summit, with two games in hand, but are still in the market to strengthen in the second half of the campaign.
The loss of Neymar to a foot injury ahead of a Champions League tie with Manchester United has left PSG looking for reinforcements, and according to German outlet Suddeutsche Zeitung, they have made an approach for Ozil.
The German is the highest earner at the Emirates, with his weekly wage of £350,000 limiting Arsenal's ability to do other deals in the transfer market.
The Gunners are believed to be willing to let Ozil leave this month, although his high salary has so far proven a stumbling block for interested parties such as Inter Milan.
PSG are thought to have offered to fund his wages in full under a loan agreement, although the player himself is said to have rejected the approach as he is not keen to be loaned out.
Arsenal have yet to sign a player this month, although they are expected to complete a deal for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez before the window shuts tonight.
