Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to battle Premier League duo Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.

The 23-year-old will allegedly be on the move during this summer's transfer window, with Lyon said to be prepared to sell him for a fee as little as €25m (£21.4m) due to their financial problems.

A recent report claimed that Tottenham were preparing to rival North London rivals Arsenal for the Frenchman's signature in the current market.

According to Le 10 sport, there is also firm interest from PSG, who are keen to add another midfielder to their squad for the 2021-22 campaign.

Aouar was strongly linked with a move away from Les Gones during last summer's transfer window but was ultimately priced out of a switch.

The midfielder scored eight times and registered four assists in 33 appearances for his Ligue 1 club during the 2020-21 campaign. body check tags ::
