Real Madrid could reportedly attempt to use Dani Ceballos as a makeweight in a swoop for Sevilla attacker Lucas Ocampos during this summer's transfer window.
Ocampos moved to the Estadio Ramon from Marseille ahead of the 2019-20 campaign and has been in impressive form for his Spanish club, scoring 12 times and registering three assists in 29 appearances.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the 25-year-old's performances have caught the attention of Madrid, who are now weighing up a move for the Argentina international ahead of the 2020-21 season.
The report claims that Ocampos has a €70m (£61.3m) buy-out clause in his deal with Julen Lopetegui's side, but Los Blancos could attempt to use Ceballos to lower the price.
The 23-year-old has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Arsenal, contributing one goal and two assists in 24 appearances for the English outfit in all competitions.
The Spain international is due to return to the Bernabeu this summer but is allegedly surplus to requirements.
