Arsenal recently sent scouts to watch Celtic's Israel midfielder Nir Bitton, according to a report.
Arsene Wenger's scouts cast an eye over the 23-year-old defensive midfielder during Celtic's recent Europa League tie against Fenerbache, according to the Evening Times.
Bitton joined the Hoops in 2013 in a £700,000 move from Israeli Premier League side FC Ashdod.
The Gunners have also been linked with a move for Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani, while David Ospina could reportedly look to leave the London outfit if he finds himself dropped for Champions League fixtures.
Wenger has previously stated that he does not need to bring in a replacement for his first choice in defensive midfield, Francis Coquelin.
