Arsenal are reported to be planning a £7m January bid for West Bromwich Albion midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu.
The 26-year-old Republic of Congo international has excelled in the Premier League since joining the Baggies from Paris Saint-Germain in 2009 following a spell on loan with Ligue 2 side Amiens SC.
According to The Mirror, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been impressed by the impact of Mathieu Flamini since he rejoined in the summer, and wants to add another player of the same ilk to ease the workload on the Frenchman.
Mulumbu signed a new deal at The Hawthorns in July.
