Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly told Arsenal that they will need to pay £40m if they want to prise midfielder Marco Verratti away from the Parc des Princes.
The 22-year-old Italian international, who joined Paris Saint-Germain from Pescara in 2012, recently signed a new five-year contract with Laurent Blanc's side.
The Daily Star reports that Arsenal are considering a move for Verratti, though they may be put off by his price tag.
Verratti has made 76 appearances for the French side, scoring one goal.
