Arsenal have reportedly reignited their interest in Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser after admitting defeat in their pursuit of Wilfried Zaha.
Crystal Palace are believed to have laughed off the Gunners' opening bid of £40m for Zaha as it is less than half the amount they are after.
The Mirror claims that rather than returning with a slightly improved offer to test the Eagles' resolve, Arsenal will now turn focus back to Bournemouth ace Fraser.
Only Eden Hazard assisted more goals than the Scotland international's 14 last season and he also rattled in seven goals of his own.
Cash-strapped Arsenal also face a battle trying to persuade the Cherries to cash in, though, with a £20m offer likely being required.
