Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Nations League fixtures, including Denmark vs. Spain.

Cyprus vs. Lithuania (Friday, 5.00pm)

After picking up just three points between them so far, relegation could be decided between League C Group 2's bottom two on Friday, when Cyprus and Lithuania meet in the UEFA Nations League.

The hosts can secure safety by picking up a point in Larnaca, meaning the visitors must win to take their survival fight down to the final day.

We say: Cyprus 1-0 Lithuania

Cyprus have produced just one goal so far in Group 2, but home advantage could help them repeat their 1-0 win over Lithuania in the reverse fixture.

A tense encounter will be more about avoiding defeat for the hosts, but they may well claim maximum points by picking off their opponents on the break.

Portugal vs. Poland (Friday, 7.45pm)

Portugal welcome Poland to Porto on matchday five of the UEFA Nations League on Friday night.

The hosts need just one point to be assured of a top-two finish, while Poland need four points from their final two matches to have any chance of reaching the finals.

We say: Portugal 2-0 Poland

Portugal have only lost at home to Poland once, and that was back in 1976, so Martinez's men will fancy their chances of another three points, especially after winning the reverse fixture 3-1 last month.

Poland will have to be aggressive knowing that they must get something here, and that even a point may not be enough if Croatia match their result, but the might of the Portugal team will make that devilishly difficult for Probierz's side.

Scotland vs. Croatia (Friday, 7.45pm)

Scotland's stay in the UEFA Nations League's top tier could be brought to its end on Friday, when they face an almost must-win game against League A Group 1 rivals Croatia.

The hosts will be relegated if they lose and Poland avoid defeat to Portugal - or if they draw and the Poles pull off a shock win - while their visitors are closing in on a place in the quarter-finals.

We say: Scotland 1-1 Croatia

Croatia can afford to play with a certain amount of freedom, as qualification is within their own hands, while Scotland are feeling the weight of public expectation.

Performances have improved, but the Tartan Army may have to wait a while longer to celebrate an elusive home win, given their opponents' combination of guile and steel.

Denmark vs. Spain (Friday, 7.45pm)

Spain will be bidding to secure top spot in Group 4 of League A in the 2024-25 UEFA Nations League when they head to Denmark on Friday evening for what is shaping up to be an intriguing affair.

La Roja have already booked their position in the quarter-finals but are yet to claim first spot, while Denmark have not yet guaranteed their position in the final eight of the competition ahead of their final two matches.

We say: Denmark 1-2 Spain

This a tough match to call, especially with Spain missing some important players, and it would not be a shock to see Denmark pick up a positive result on Friday night. Spain have such quality in the forward areas, though, and we are backing De la Fuente's side to navigate their way to all three points in their penultimate match in the group stage.

Switzerland vs. Serbia (Friday, 7.45pm)

Switzerland will be playing for their top-tier status when they host Serbia on Friday evening, after a sluggish start in League A Group 4 left them staring relegation in the face.

After picking up just one point, the Swiss can no longer make the top two and will be automatically demoted if they fail to win in Zurich, while their opponents still harbour hopes of making the UEFA Nations League's knockout phase.

We say: Switzerland 2-2 Serbia

Though Switzerland defeated Serbia at both of the last two World Cups, they lost when these nations most recently met and are enduring an injury crisis.

While the Eagles do not travel well, their front line should cause a makeshift Swiss defence plenty of problems on Friday, when a draw would consign the home side to relegation.

Romania vs. Kosovo (Friday, 7.45pm)

Vying for top spot in League C Group 2, leaders Romania and second-placed Kosovo will clash in the UEFA Nations League on Friday.

The Tricolorii's perfect record gives them a three-point lead coming into this month's finale, and only finishing first will guarantee promotion.

We say: Romania 2-1 Kosovo

Amid some fierce animosity between fans, which stems from clashes during the Euro 2024 qualifiers, a fascinating battle for first place should play out on the pitch.

Kosovo have proven their goal threat since being battered by Romania in September, so they can at least score once - however, the hosts are too hot to handle at League C level.

Luxembourg vs. Bulgaria (Friday, 7.45pm)

Bulgaria's fight to finish at the top of Group 3 of League C in the 2024-25 UEFA Nations League will continue on Friday evening, with the Lions travelling to Stade de Luxembourg to take on Luxembourg.

The visitors are currently third in the table, two points behind leaders Northern Ireland, while Luxembourg are bottom of the section, picking up only two points from their opening four matches.

We say: Luxembourg 1-2 Bulgaria

The last three fixtures between these two sides have finished level, and it would not be a surprise to see the points shared on Friday night. However, we just have a feeling that Bulgaria will be able to shade a close match.

N. Ireland vs. Belarus (Friday, 7.45pm)

In their fifth UEFA Nations League C match of 2024-25, Northern Ireland are set to host Belarus on Friday at Windsor Park, with victory enough to guarantee a place in the top two.

The home team are first in their four-team group with seven points and ran out 5-0 winners against Bulgaria last time out in the competition on October 15, whereas the visitors are just one place and one point behind, though they drew 1-1 with Luxembourg on October 15.

We say: Northern Ireland 2-1 Belarus

The hosts have been strong at home in recent games and it would not be surprising if they won once again.

Belarus have also been poor away from home, and it is difficult to see how they achieve a positive result.

San Marino vs. Gibraltar (Friday, 7.45pm)

San Marino will hope to leapfrog Gibraltar and prevent them from earning promotion from their UEFA Nations League D group when they welcome them to Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle on Friday.

The hosts are second in their three-team group with three points after two games and lost 1-0 against Gibraltar on October 10, while their opponents are first with five points from three Nations League matches and drew 0-0 with Liechtenstein on October 13.

We say: San Marino 0-2 Gibraltar

It is difficult to see how San Marino avoid defeat given they have only won one competitive match in their history.

Gibraltar are also unbeaten in recent games, and it would not be surprising if they won on Friday.
