Arsenal scouts have reportedly been keeping an eye on the performances of Croatian striker Ante Budimir over the last couple of weeks.
The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Italian Serie B side Crotone from St Pauli, who operate in the second division of German football.
The Croatian has scored nine times for his loan club this season and according to Goal.com, Arsenal scout Tony Banfield has been watching the forward in recent games.
Budimir has scored in each of his last five games for Crotone, including a strike in their 3-1 defeat to AC Milan in the Coppa Italia earlier this month.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is expected to boost his squad in January with the signing of a striker.
