Arsenal will reportedly make a second offer for Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye this week.
The Gunners previously made a bid on Monday, which Magpies boss Alan Pardew deemed "unacceptable".
Now, according to the Mirror, Arsene Wenger will launch a new bid of around £20m as he looks to bolster his squad.
The French midfielder has been left out of Newcastle's last two games amid talk of the move south, and Pardew admitted that he could leave St James' Park before the end of the transfer window.
Cabaye is thought to be very interested in a move to Arsenal, particularly as their Champions League qualification looks all but confirmed following a 3-0 away win in Turkey.
Arsenal are keen to get the deal done as soon as possible, so they can finalise other targets including Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria.
