Arsenal will reportedly offer new contracts to Mikel Arteta and Olivier Giroud in the coming weeks.
The Gunners added to their squad in the recent transfer window, signing Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck in an £80m spending spree.
However, the Daily Mail reports that the club will now focus on securing the long-term future of their already established stars.
The newspaper claims that Giroud will be offered an extension until the summer of 2018, while Arteta, who was recently made the club's captain, will be offered an additional 12 months on his current deal.
Giroud is currently sidelined with a broken ankle.
