Arsenal have reportedly singled out Mesut Ozil for a contract extension after spending just over two years at the club.
Ozil became the club's record signing when he arrived in North London from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013, and he still has two years remaining on his current deal.
However, The Mirror claims that the Gunners are keen to extend the World Cup winner's stay at the Emirates Stadium after he found his best form on a consistent basis last season.
The report suggests that Spanish full-back Nacho Monreal has already been offered a new deal as Arsene Wenger looks to tie down the key members of his squad.
Ozil's future was recently called into question when his agent claimed that the attacking midfielder would be open to joining Fenerbahce in the future.
