Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez has reportedly agreed a deal to join Arsenal.
The Gunners failed to land Mahrez's teammate Jamie Vardy earlier in the summer, but reports in the winger's native Algeria have suggested that they will have better luck trying to sign the 25-year-old.
According to newspaper Le Buteur, Mahrez agreed a switch to the Emirates after Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger held talks with the footballer and his representatives.
In contrast, reports on Tuesday claimed that the winger is happy to remain at Leicester and will not force through a transfer.
Mahrez scored 17 goals and registered 11 assists last season as Leicester upset the odds by winning their first ever Premier League title.
The Algerian was named PFA Player of the Year for his performances.
