Roma are reportedly working hard to sign Jack Wilshere on a season-long loan from Arsenal.
The 24-year-old midfielder is believed to mulling over numerous loan offers, two of which have come from Premier League clubs Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.
This morning, it was reported that the England international was leaning towards a switch to Bournemouth after being impressed with manager Eddie Howe following a meeting yesterday.
However, Roma may try to scupper the deal as they are making "significant efforts" to seal Wilshere's signature, according to Sky Sports News.
The midfielder, who has suffered with a number of injuries over the past few years, has been limited to just two appearances off the substitutes' bench at Arsenal this season.
Wilshere's England place has also been affected as he was left out of Sam Allardyce's squad to face Slovakia in this Sunday's World Cup qualifier.
