Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has revealed that he has opened talks with the club over a new deal.
Sagna's contract at the Emirates Stadium expires at the end of the season, but the France international has indicated that he would like to extend his stay in North London.
The 30-year-old told beIN Sport: "I still have six months to do with Arsenal, but we are in talks. January? This is an option to engage elsewhere, but I've always had a good relationship with Arsenal.
"It's been seven years since I signed here. I hope that will lead to something good. I would like to win the championship, because we have the opportunity this year, and then after, we'll see."
The right-back has made 22 appearances for the Gunners during this campaign.
