Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has revealed that Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna has opted to remain in the Premier League.
The 31-year-old, who comes to the end of his contract at the Emirates in the summer, is said to have had a number of failed talks with the Gunners over a new deal.
Thohir confirmed this week that the Italian outfit are interested in signing Sagna, but it appears that the right-back has rejected an offer to join the club.
"Sagna decided to stay in the Premier League, but it will be necessary to strengthen that area of the field," Goal.com quotes Thohir as saying.
Thohir also claimed that he has not had any contact with Manchester United vice captain Patrice Evra.
