Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez was reportedly in France on Friday to meet with Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique.
Sanchez is currently in the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer.
Manchester City were thought to be leading the race for the Chilean's signature, but PSG have emerged as another possible target and are reportedly willing to spend up to £70m to land the attacker.
Sanchez is keen to play Champions League football next season and is thought to be open to the idea of moving to Paris rather than spending another year in North London.
ESPN reports that the 28-year-old and his representatives travelled to France to meet with Henrique on Friday after the PSG director returned to the country from the club's tour of the United States because of urgent transfer business.
PSG have also been heavily linked with a move for Barcelona winger Neymar, although their pursuit of the Brazilian is not expected to impact upon their interest in Sanchez.
