Shkodran Mustafi could reportedly complete a move to Galatasaray in the coming days, with the Arsenal defender's agent flying to Turkey to hold talks over a potential switch.
The 27-year-old has largely failed to impress for the Gunners since arriving from Valencia in 2016 and has only made three Premier League appearances during the 2019-20 campaign.
Having been left out of the squad for Arsenal's last two league matches against Manchester United and Crystal Palace, the centre-back has seemingly seen as surplus to requirements by new boss Mikel Arteta.
According to Fotomac, Mustafi's agent is set to fly to Turkey to discuss a switch to Galatasaray, who have emerged as the favourites to sign the Germany international this month.
The report claims that the defender could move on an initial loan with a view to a permanent transfer.
Mustafi, who will see his current deal at the Emirates Stadium expire in June 2021, has made 125 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions.
