Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined North London rivals Arsenal in the race to sign Ajax full-back Nicolas Tagliafico.
Tagliafico only joined the Dutch outfit last summer, but his form in the Eredivisie and during Ajax's run to the quarter-finals of the Champions League has attracted interest from elsewhere.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery is thought to see the Argentine as a replacement for Nacho Monreal, while Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest.
Metro reports that Spurs are now in the running for his signature and have already scouted the defender on numerous occasions this season.
Tagliafico could reportedly be available for as little as £15m, making him an affordable option for the North London duo, both of whom have limited transfer funds this summer.
The 26-year-old has scored five goals and created five more in 34 appearances for Ajax so far this season.
