Tammy Abraham is reportedly on the brink of signing for Roma after the Italian side agreed a deal with Chelsea.
The 23-year-old was already out of favour under Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea and has now slipped further down the pecking order following the arrival of Romelu Lukaku.
Inter Milan announced on Saturday that they had signed Edin Dzeko from Roma to fill the void left by Lukaku's departure, leading Jose Mourinho's side to turn their attention to Abraham.
Reports on Friday claimed that there had been a breakthrough in talks with Abraham after Roma raised their salary offer to £5m a year, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now claims that the deal is "done".
Romano claims that Chelsea will receive €40m (£34m) from the Englishman's sale, and he will undergo his medical in the coming days before putting pen to paper on a deal.
Arsenal were also rumoured to be in the running for Abraham, but the striker reportedly did not receive any offers from Mikel Arteta's side, and Chelsea are understood to have inserted an €80m (£68m) buyback clause into his Roma contract.
Abraham prepares to leave Chelsea after scoring 30 goals and setting up 12 more in 82 games for the club, and he was an unused substitute in Saturday's opening-day Premier League win over Crystal Palace. body check tags ::
