Troy Deeney has rubbished suggestions that he could leave Watford to join Arsenal this month.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is believed to be deliberating over a £20m bid for the striker, who has found the back of the net six times in the Premier League this season.
Deeney has also impressed alongside teammate Odion Ighalo as the pair have struck 20 league goals combined on Watford's way up to ninth in the table after 20 games.
When asked by talkSPORT about the speculation, Deeney said: "We have got a project to complete and the gaffer has stated before that whatever happens in the summer, will happen in the summer.
"[The Arsenal rumours are] very flattering. My son is an Arsenal fan so he read it in the paper the other day and I do not think he is happy that I am staying at Watford."
Deeney has been a Watford player since 2010.
