Manchester United striker Robin van Persie could be set for a move back to his old club Arsenal after becoming disillusioned with life at Old Trafford, according to a report.
The Daily Mail claims that the Dutch forward was upset with the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson last summer along with first team coach Rene Meulensteen, and he himself could make a surprise exit just two years after joining the Red Devils.
Meanwhile, it has been suggested that the striker and his family have struggled to settle in the North-West, and reports in the Netherlands hint at the 30-year-old's unhappiness with the club's current training regime.
Van Persie was on the scoresheet for United on Saturday against Stoke City, but was unable to prevent his side from falling to a 2-1 defeat.
