Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has reportedly warned Arsenal that he will ponder a move away from the Emirates unless new players are bought in January.
The Gunners were resigned to losing their talisman Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona and midfielder Samir Nasri to rivals Manchester City over the summer.
Despite boss Arsene Wenger bringing in Mikel Arteta, Per Mertesacker and Yossi Benayoun in the final days of the transfer window, the Dutchman is keeping his options open, according to the Daily Star.
The 28-year-old has admitted that he is putting contract talks on hold with the Gunners because he is "happy" with his current deal.
Despite Wenger dismissing fears that the frontman could leave, Manchester City are reportedly lining up a bid for the Dutch international in January.
