Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has reiterated his intentions to send striker Yaya Sanogo on loan to a Premier League club this month.
Having found himself behind Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck in the pecking order, Wenger recently confirmed that he was keen to see the 21-year-old move away from the Emirates on loan for the rest of the campaign.
French sides Bordeaux and Lorient are among those reportedly tracking him, but Wenger has appealed to English clubs to take Sanogo off his hands temporarily.
Asked by the Gunners' official website if Bordeaux was an option, Wenger said: "Personally, I said that many times I prefer the Premier League. That's still the case.
"Yaya is here at the moment. He needs more experience at the top level in the Premier League. He's ready to play but we have so many options up front that it's difficult to play."
The Frenchman has made just three top-flight appearances this season.
