Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has remained coy over talk of a potential move for Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca.
Bacca has been touted as a possible replacement for the injured Olivier Giroud, with Goal.com suggesting that the Gunners could attempt to make a move for the player on Monday ahead of the transfer deadline.
"We can talk and talk and talk. At the end of the day we sign somebody or not," Wenger told reporters after Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Leicester City on Sunday.
"Could we win the game today without anybody? Yes. We have plenty of strikers and even when we had Giroud - now everybody says we cannot replace Giroud - when you had Giroud you asked me the same question.
"It's a recurrence as long as the transfer market is open to make everybody dream by thinking the solution is always somewhere, when it's not necessarily obvious."
Arsenal currently find themselves in seventh spot in the Premier League table.
