Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has agreed personal terms with Roma ahead of sealing a season-long loan move, according to reports.
The 25-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Emirates Stadium, with the recent arrival of Petr Cech pushing him further down the pecking order.
It had previously been suggested that a permanent deal for the Poland shot-stopper could be on the cards, but according to the Daily Mail both Szczesny and Arsenal prefer a short-team departure.
Roma will reportedly have to pay an initial £250,000 to land the former Gunners number 1, but the final details of the full loan fee are still be ironed out.
Szczesny has made 181 appearances for Arsenal since coming through the club's youth ranks in 2009.
