Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly made the first move in the race to sign Reims defender Axel Disasi.
Having helped Reims put together the best defensive record in Ligue 1 this season, centre-back Disasi is inevitably attracting interest from bigger clubs.
With just one year remaining on the 22-year-old's contract, Arsenal are said to be monitoring the situation, aware that Reims are ready to cash in on arguably their biggest asset.
However, according to L'Equipe, Wolves have made a formal offer for the player, said to be in the region of €15m (£13.46m).
Although the report suggests that higher bids are expected in the future, the alleged move from Wolves puts pressure on their rivals for Disasi's signature.
The former France Under-20 international has made a total of 52 appearances for Reims since November 2017.
