Wolverhampton Wanderers could reportedly be set to secure the services of Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Lemar this month.
The 24-year-old, who has been tracked by a number of Europe's elite sides over the last few seasons, joined Atletico Madrid in July 2018 for a reported fee of €60m (£51m) but is thought to be surplus to requirements as Diego Simeone looks to bring in a new forward this month.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Premier League outfit Wolves have emerged as a possible destination for the Frenchman this month, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur also said to be interested.
The publication says that Atletico are open to Lemar joining Wolves on an initial loan deal running to the end of the season, with an option to buy for a significant fee over the summer.
Super agent Jorge Mendes, who represents Lemar, has close ties with the ambitious Midlands side and has already facilitated a number of his clients moving to Molineux.
Wolves currently sit seventh in the Premier League table and have also reached the knockout stages of the Europa League.
