Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly ready to battle Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles during this summer's transfer window.
The 22-year-old is allegedly surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium ahead of next season and is believed to be a target for Tottenham, who are said to be lining up a £20m bid.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Wolves are also interested in signing the Englishman, who still has three years left to run on his contract with Mikel Arteta's side.
The report claims that Nuno Espirito Santo's side have approached the Gunners to register their interest, suggesting that there will be a battle for the versatile midfielder this summer.
Maitland-Niles featured on 33 occasions for Arsenal during the 2019-20 campaign, largely operating as a right-back, although he also turned out in central midfield.
Brighton & Hove Albion, Everton and Newcastle United are also believed to be admirers.
