AS Monaco have been dealt a blow ahead of their meeting with Paris Saint-Germain after Dimitar Berbatov was ruled out of the game with an ankle injury.
Doubts had been raised over the Bulgarian's fitness this week due to the knock he picked up in the draw with Zenit St Petersburg on Wednesday, and Monaco's fears have been confirmed.
"Berbatov won't be available to play at Paris," Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim, who will also be without the suspended Jeremy Toulalan, told reporters.
"The team has lost two important players, but the most important is the team and the equilibrium. I have confidence in the players who will replace them."
Berbatov has scored twice in eight games for Monaco this season.
