The Ligue 1 match between Monaco and Montpellier HSC has been postponed after heavy rain made the pitch unplayable at Stade Louis II.
Monaco had already confirmed their team for the match before an announcement revealed that officials had called off the fixture approximately 50 minutes before kickoff.
"The match referee, Lionel Jaffredo, took the decision to postpone the match to a later date due to the meteorological conditions," a statement on the Monaco website read.
A rearranged date could depend on Monaco's ongoing involvement in the Champions League, ahead of the first leg of their last-16 tie against Arsenal on February 25.
