AS Monaco will reportedly complete the signing of Wissam Ben Yedder from Sevilla after activating the striker's £37.1m release clause.
The French club initially put forward an offer of around £18.5m plus the services of Rony Lopes that was rejected and have since returned with a straight cash deal.
Ben Yedder, who moved to Andalusia in 2016, has been a prolific force for Sevilla, scoring 30 goals in all competitions last season.
According to L'Equipe, the Spanish club will sanction his departure after Monaco agreed to buy out his contract by paying the full £37.1m.
Reports have suggested that Manchester United, who lost striker Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan this summer, had displayed an interest in the striker.
Monaco have already dabbled in the Spanish market during the current transfer window, splashing out £27m to secure the services of Atletico Madrid winger Gelson Martins.
