Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores has said that goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes suffered a concussion during Watford's 3-2 win away at Aston Villa this afternoon.
The game was halted for almost ten minutes after the Brazilian collided with teammate Craig Cathcart in the 61st minute and he eventually left the field on a stretcher after being fitted with a neck brace.
After the final whistle, Flores told BBC Sport that he is waiting to hear "more news" about the welfare of Gomes.
He said: "I hope he is well at the moment, I wait to hear more news. He has concussion or something like this."
The win at Villa has lifted Watford up into 11th place in the Premier League table.
