Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood has warned his players to expect a "tough" match against Notts County in the League Cup.
The Villans welcome the League Two club to Villa Park in the second round of the competition tonight.
Despite winning just one of their opening four games of the season, Sherwood believes that the Magpies will provide his side with stern opposition.
"It will be a tough game," he told Villa's official website. "I know their manager Ricardo Moniz very well. He used to be a skills coach at Tottenham. They will look to come and play football. It's a good home draw for us and one we are looking forward to."
Villa have lost their last two matches in the Premier League.
